Ripon Cathedral
In 2015 Ripon Cathedral spent nearly a year investigating how to take the Cathedral ‘out of the building’ and into the community as a partner with local organisations. In June 2016 a small group, named Cathedral Community Connections or C3, was set up to initiate community partnerships with local charities. Barrie and Sue Evason who were members of the congregation of Ripon Cathedral became among the first members of C3 and helped to develop the way in which this new venture would work with community partners.
Grantley Hall
At Grantley Hall we are passionate about giving back to the local community and supporting local charities. Jennyruth Workshop’s mission to support and employ adults with learning disabilities was inspiring to our team and a great driver in why we chose them as one of our company charities.
Since partnering with Jennyruth in 2022, we have raised over £2,500 in various fundraising activities such as 10K Tough Mudder’s and Charity Car Washes and will continue to do fundraising activities like this in the future to support Jennyruth.
Monk Park Farm
Monk Park Farm partnered with the lovely team at Jennyruth Workshops after seeing their amazing snowman cut outs in Northallerton. Our ongoing partnership has led to many collaborations including the MPF children’s wooden toys, Easter Egg Trail and more recently the introduction of a Guinea Pig Village.
Hanson Plywood
The company has been supplying Jennyruth indirectly over a number of years and we were delighted when the opportunity arose recently for staff to take a tour of the workshops to see what they do.
They were amazed at all the different products and quality of craftsmanship displayed by the very enthusiastic workers aided by the admirable volunteer staff.
